Why did we create
Thinkers Publishing?
With the advent of strong chess computers since the 1990s, many authors and publishers have become over-reliant on 'computer lines', leading to sterile books full of unmemorable analysis. Poor publishing deals for authors have left them demotivated from producing good work and exacerbated this trend of books being churned out at lower cost and quality.

At Thinkers Publishing we believe in engaging both authors and leaders with a high-quality yet well-priced product. Improved terms for the authors enabling them to make a good return on writing books. Better, more 'human' analysis giving readers more fun and better learning. More attractive covers, candy for the eye and the best print-quality to entice the readers to buy.

Top authors have flocked to TP and are covering a variety of new and interesting topics. TP's success is disrupting the market as competitors struggle to wean themselves from their tired and complacent formula.

In the meantime, TP has a pipeline of great new products to power sales over the coming years. We can be proud of following eminent authors working, writing for Thinkers:

Gata Kamsky, Alexander Shabalov, Genna Sosonko, Maxime Vachier Lagrave, Evgeny Bareev, Vladimir Tukmakov, David Navara, Pentala Harikrishna, Nihal Sarin, Dorsa & Borna Derakshani, Dariusz Swiercz, Alexander Colovic, Ivan Cheparinov, Milos Pavlovic, Romain Edouard etc, just to name some. Naturally it won’t stop there.

We daily negotiate new book contracts proving our business model is not just an empty box.
